quick question before i get to why you're really looking at my post:

does anyone know of any good fat-positive gynos in the baton rouge area? i've never been (lame, i know) and i think i'm about six years late in scheduling this appointment. i've also been told i may want to get tested for PCOS, so if anyone knows anything about that or would like to share info, that would be greatly appreciated.

i've been thinking about expanding my jewelry collection. there are several necklaces at forever 21 that have my name on them.

dear bra-wearers (or heck, even non-bra wearers who know a thing to two) :)

The underwires in my bra always, ALWAYS eventually come out. there come out on the inside of the cup (near my cleavage). this has happened to the bra i'm wearing right now, and to my last bra. both wear 40DD bras from addition-elle. when i was a smaller cup size i bought my bras at la senza and the same thing happened. what's this from? my glorious breasts, poor construction, the fact that i only ever wear one bra at a time?

should i be investing in more expensive bras? should i buy 3 bras at addition-elle and rotate so i'm not wearing one out all the time? should i just learn to accept that my bras are semi-disposable?

any help would be much appreciated.

Day 4: a desperate attempt to like this dress again



Details:
Blue shirt dress: Old Navy plus size 16
Pastel floral belt: off a dress bought via sales post
Leggings (it was cold that day!): duo maternity 2x, from sales post, and seriously the most comfortable bottoms I own. I napped in them later that day.
Boots: the infamous Target Kady boots in brown, size 11
Headband: made from a black headband elastic and a fake flower with the wire stem shortened and wrapped around the band.

You can upload your own designs and have them printed on a variety of cotton and cotton-blend fabrics. Prices start at $18. For me, it helps to explain why some of the clothing on Etsy and other smaller clothing retailers can be so pricy. Fabric, especially custom-made like this, is expensive! But wow, the possibilities are endless - I wish they sold gift cards; I know what I'd be asking for for Christmas!
